SCE Environmental Group responded to a spill involving a tractor-trailer hauling brine water from a wellpad in Bradford County. The truck spilled an estimated 4,800 gallons of brine water onto private property when the truck rolled over Thursday on U.S. Route 187 in Asylum Township, according to a DEP spokesman. The truck, which rolled over near the Terry Township line, was hauling about 5,380 gallons of brine water at the time of the accident, according to Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Dan Spadoni. The truck also spilled about 20 gallons of diesel fuel and an undetermined amount of motor oil, he said. It's a "significant spill," Spadoni said.
